I finally released an HTML parser I originally wrote a couple years ago
for Guile, and have since substantially improved:
http://www.neilvandyke.org/htmlprag/
HtmlPrag is LGPL'd (as a compromise between the GPL license and the
"public domain" declaration of certain other XML libraries that can be
used with HtmlPrag).
Could the unknown maintainer of
"http://www.gnu.org/software/guile/gnu-guile-projects.html" please
consider adding HtmlPrag to that page? The page suggests that I post to
the "guile-user" list. Thanks.

nobody maintains that page because the page maintainer doesn't
have write privs. hmm, what to do?

Please send a diff against the HTML code of the page. I will install
it then. Thanks!

here is a guile-projects entry i just generated:
((name "HtmlPrag")
(category "Libraries/Datatypes")
(keywords "html parsing")
(description
"A permissive HTML parser that emits SXML format.")
(location
(url "http://www.neilvandyke.org/htmlprag/"
(authors (email "Neil W. Van Dyke" "neil@neilvandyke.org"))
(license "LGPL"))
you can update the unofficial superset of the GNU projects page[1] in
the future by following the protocol instructions[2], tweaking the above
sexp as necessary. i've already done the initial import so you don't
need to do that; should be showing up in the next hour or so.
