The instructions for installing slib in guile 1.6.1 appear to differ 
from slib's own installation instructions.  Slib's instructions refer to 
an additional step: loading the guile.init (via GUILE_LOAD_PATH?).

Is (use-modules (ice-9 slib)) effectively doing the same thing (allowing 
guile and slib to work together), but with different code?  Which one is 
correct?
