The 1.8 ref manual (sec 2.5) still says bug-guile@gnu.org is the way to
report bugs.  But, http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=guile exists,
too.

Is one of those two a preferred method?

Savannah relays to bug-guile.  bug-guile is generally better because
there's a chance of actually responding to or querying the reporter,
which you don't get in an anon report at savannah.
