Won't you think it is a good idea?
I was doing some reading and the Introspection thing seems to be a
nice way for doing bindings.
At least it's what people are saying. ;)

Sorry, I mean I'm using it. Not maintaining it. I just told you
guile-gnome + guile2.0 works well.

There are plans to use the gobject part of guile-gnome together with
gobject introspection stuff; but it needs to be done carefully, and no
one is working on it right now, that I know of. But do join the
guile-gnome mailing list and see what's up:
