Readline init broke on master

Hi-

If I start up an interactive session with the current master, and I
enter the following three lines at the prompt

(use-modules (ice-9 readline))<CR>
(activate-readline)<CR>
<CR>
 
I get an infinite loop of 

ERROR: Wrong number of arguments to #<program 9dfdee0
at /usr/local/share/guile/1.9/ice-9/readline.scm:210:14 (repl-prompt)>

Did you perhaps make install in modules/ but not in readline/ ?

Don't think so.  I tried it again.  Did the usual

rm -rf ~/.cache
cd guile 
rm -rf cache
git pull
CFLAGS="-O0 -g3 -gdwarf-2" ./configure
make clean
make
su
make install

Same result as before.

Is your configure actually detecting readline? Is it possible you have
an old guile-readline install?
