However, the test suite invoked by a subsequent `make check` fails in a few p= laces, and I do not know enough about Guile to tell whether any of these are= indicative of deep problems or if they are all relatively trivial. Specifi= cally: - In `00-repl-server.test`, I got an intermittent error, =E2=80=9Cthread_sus= pend failed=E2=80=9D. It happened once, with no further information provide= d and no obvious cause. - In `00-socket.test`, the `setsockopt` test fails outright, while the `bind= abstract socket` test errors out with =E2=80=9Cno such file or directory=E2= =80=9D (which then causes the subsequent `listen abstract`, `connect abstrac= t`, and `accept abstract` tests to not be able to resolve). These all have 1= 00% repeatability. - A significant minority of test scripts reported unresolved tests, but no a= ctual errors or failures. `i18n.test` in particular produced 43 unresolved t= ests, well over half of which involved French. Strangely, the summary of te= st results appears to treat them as successes, unless I am misinterpreting s= omething. - In `filesys.test`, `mkdtemp` fails outright with an =E2=80=9Cinvalid templ= ate=E2=80=9D, while `chmodat` evokes three separate errors: =E2=80=9Cnot a p= ort=E2=80=9D, =E2=80=9Cnot a file port=E2=80=9D, and =E2=80=9Cclosed port=E2= =80=9D (all three errors speak of an =E2=80=9Cunbound variable #f=E2=80=9D.)= - In `posix.test`, there are two errors (=E2=80=9Cutime: AT_SYMLINK_NOFOLLOW= =E2=80=9D has an out-of-range argument 4096; =E2=80=9Cpipe: O_CLOEXEC=E2=80=9D= has an unknown error 0), three unresolved tests, and an outright failure (=E2= =80=9Cspawn: wc with stdin and stdout redirects=E2=80=9D) so severe as to pr= ompt a backtrace (which reveals that the =E2=80=9C2=E2=80=9D it reports expe= cting should in fact have been a Unicode HORIZONTAL ELLIPSIS). - Running `r4rs.test` produced an interpreter warning about =E2=80=9Cload=E2= =80=9D being used in a declarative module. - Between `srfi-98.test` and `srfi-105.test`, an interpreter warning appeare= d: =E2=80=9Ccall to environ while multiple threads are running; further beh= avior unspecified=E2=80=9D. Any commentary shedding light on these errors/failures would be appreciated.= Gordon S.=
