Well, to fix that problem, why not just put all bugs in a bug/
subdirectory, so we'd have:

  README
  Whatever
  Some-other-info
  script/foo
  script/bar
  bug/bug-0
  bug/something
  bug/something-else
  etc...

Maybe we don't need/want script/, or perhaps it should just be bin/,
but I suspect you get the idea...
