FWIW, I have a sparc64 box and I noticed the problem long ago but was essentially too lazy to fix it (I seem to recall that I blamed the test case back then ;-)). I'm pretty sure it's a boring problem, like a dangling reference to a module kept on the stack. I'll try to look into it. Thanks, Ludovic.
