It's my understanding you're always supposed to edit the template and
then run a make command to update the result.

http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/guile

The web pages along with the templates are in a CVS repository
there. I'd imagine you should cvs diff and send those back after
the fixes.

There should be no difference between the template and the actual web
page, so please try to first repair the situation by copying back the
changes from the web page to the template.  Then make your changes.
