How about ‘overlay’ (or ‘over-set’ or ‘mask’) or ‘interpose’ or
‘insinuate’ or ‘twiddle’ or ‘frob’ or ‘actually’ or ‘imho’ or some
combination of the previous and prefix ‘w/’ (e.g., ‘w/ho’)?
