Just a heads up -- as far as I can see, we haven't had any
showstopping bugs crop up in 1.5.8, so unless there's something I've
missed, it's time for the 1.6.1 release.
Comments? Anything that can't wait for 1.6.2? If not, I'll be
preparing/checking the release as I have time over the next day or
two. For anyone with spare time, I'd still be happy to accept any
NEWS revisions or improvements, or other documentation fixes, but
please coordinate with me so you don't commit something after I've
tagged/built the release.
Thanks

Am I missing something? Isn't 1.6 or 1.6.0 supposed to come before
1.6.1 ?
(Not that I care, just as long as it gets released quickly.. :-)

I don't really care either way. If people have a strong preference,
I'd be happy to name it 1.6.0. Marius?

No preference on my side.
