My fault -- I failed to see the use of HAVE_GETGROUPS in posix.c -- dunno how I overlooked that. My comment about it being different was just based on this from the manpages: CONFORMING TO SVr4, SVID (issue 4 only; these calls were not present in SVr3), X/OPEN, 4.3BSD. The getgroups function is in POSIX.1. Since setgroups requires privilege, it is not covered by POSIX.1. Since I overlooked the HAVE_GETGROUPS, I guessed maybe we were just presuming a POSIX system in posix.c. -- Rob Browning rlb @defaultvalue.org, @linuxdevel.com, and @debian.org Previously @cs.utexas.edu GPG starting 2002-11-03 = 14DD 432F AE39 534D B592 F9A0 25C8 D377 8C7E 73A4 _______________________________________________ Guile-devel mailing list Guile-devel@gnu.org http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/guile-devel
