This is guile 1.6.0
$ /usr/local/guile1.6/bin/guile -q -c '(begin (display (expt 0 3)) (newline))'
1
But other schemes (not to mention my dim recollection of mathematics)
disagree:
$ /usr/bin/guile --version
Guile 1.4
$ /usr/bin/guile -q -c '(begin (display (expt 0 3)) (newline))'
0
$ scheme -eval '(begin (display (expt 0 3)) (newline) (exit))' 2>/dev/null
...
MIT Scheme running under GNU/Linux
...
Release 7.7.0
...
0
$ scsh -c '(begin (display (expt 0 3)) (newline) (exit))'
0

Thanks! It's fixed in CVS (both branches).
