Normally, `scmconfig.h' is produced from `scmconfig.h.in' by `config.status', i.e., at the end of the `configure' run. All `@' variables found in the `.in' file should be substituted by their value, which is not the case here. You may want to run "make distclean && autoheader && autoreconf -vfi" and then rebuild the whole thing: $ ./configure -C --enable-maintainer-mode && make all check Hope this helps, Ludovic.
