Hmm in this file I see:

  #if (defined GC_VERSION_MAJOR) && (GC_VERSION_MAJOR >= 7)
  /* This type was provided by `libgc' 6.x.  */
  typedef void *GC_PTR;
  #endif

Perhaps you were looking at a modified version of the file?

Hi Ludo,

You are correct.  When compiling against
libgc-7.0, there was an error generated at that
line.  I did modify it to allow the build to
continue.

My bad!
