Here are some ways to get guile 1.6.4 (and 1.7.0 I think)
to segfault or go into an infinite loop:
guile> (array-in-bounds? 1.5)

Thanks! I'm getting to them, but slowly. If anyone can provide fixes
for these bugs (which should not be that hard to find), that would be
great.
