I've pulled it from CVS

I run into problems here:
$ ./autogen.sh .
aclocal: configure.in: 167: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
I'm using autoconf version 2.53 and automake 1.4p5
Should I be using different versions? Or is there some environment
variable I need to set?
