By the way for some reason, i would like to get 27.2 version. Actually i did fail to search new package GNU Emacs 27.2 in Debian Project repository. So i have to try a way of build manually? Any guidence and comments welcome! Sincerley, Gnus fan Byung-Hee ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 8+ messages in thread

You need to install the Debian package ‘libxml2-dev’ to build Emacs with a functioning ‘eww’. So, apt install libxml2-dev ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 8+ messages in thread

Anyway `eww' seems to work fine. I use Emacs-w3m which I get from MELPA. So that is installed _after_ building Emacs :) https://dataswamp.org/~incal/conf/.zsh/install-emacs -- underground experts united https://dataswamp.org/~incal ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 8+ messages in thread
