w3 issue

w3 issue

Ive just installed w3 so I can read html mail with vm, but when I try to
load w3 I get the following message

set-face-attribute: Wrong type argument: stringp, nil

Im using emacs 21.2.1 via terminal progam, can please help me get w3
running.

Why not try emacs-w3m with w3m instead?  Much less grief.

Did you get W3-4.0pre47?  pre46 does not work with Emacs 21.

Does it work to use the W3 from CVS?  (Attention: you have to get the
url package, too, separately.)
