When I start Gnus (with M-x gnus) on CVS Emacs on Solaris 11, when
loading is almost finished, the menu bar is hidden and I have no way to
recover it.  This makes CVS Emacs completely (well, more or less) unusable.
This is a regression from Emacs 23.1.

I seem to recall seeing this bug for a while, but it seems to have gone
away; I can't remember who fixed it, tho.  Does the problem still occur
for you on latest BZR Emacs?

More information was requested two years ago, but was apparently not
given, so I'm closing this bug report.  If the bug still exists, please
reopen the report.
