Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

I was trying it out briefly and found that C-c M-k
(bibtex-copy-field-as-kill) seems to do nothing.

BTW, any idea how active the maintainence of BibTeX mode is?

If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
    `bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
If you would like to further debug the crash, please read the file
d:/Applications/emacs/etc/DEBUG for instructions.

It seems bibtex has its own kill ring but it still uses the term kill
ring, which is confusing.
