Hi

I've been using rcirc for some time now and it's bugging me that there
are *three* default keybindings for rcirc-next-active-buffer. I'll go
out on a limb and say that most people probably use C-c C-SPC and very
few use C-c ` or C-c C-@.

What is the reason for having so many default bindings for this? The
most annoying one to me is C-c ` which coincides with TeX-next-error.
Can we remove that keybinding from rcirc, please?

C-@ is the same as C-SPC on terminals, so they should always have the
same binding.

Andreas.

Actually, shouldn't this just argue for ttys to have a mapping from C-@
to C-SPC in function-key-map?

I have raised this issue a few months ago but nothing happened. So I
deleted C-c ` in rcirc and recompiled it. But I have to remember to do
that every time I upgrade Emacs.

A perfect application for eval-after-load. :-)

Andreas.

Certainly. I have already 15 e-a-l in my .emacs and it is overkill for
things like this.
