Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build Emacs with giving the --enable-checking option to configure.
2. Create ~/.emacs containing (read-from-minibuffer "test: ").
3. Start Emacs with no command-line option.
Result:
src/xdisp.c:13219: Emacs fatal error: assertion failed: WINDOWP(echo_area_window)
The value of echo_area_window is 0 when the error occurs. The trunk
also has the same problem.
