The unexec problem seems to be solved. As I've installed the fix to the EMACS_22_BASE branch, you can try the 64-bit version of *X11* build on Leopard by specifying CC='cc -arch ppc64' or CC='cc -arch x86_64' when running configure. Of course you need additional 64-bit versions of libraries to display various types of images. Could someone test if it works with x86_64? I only have Leopard on a ppc64 machine.
