Subject: bootstrap fails on old redhat 7.0 system
Date: Fri, 28 Mar 2008 10:54:25 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <wkbq4ywzzy.fsf@CoCreate.com> (raw)
On my old redhat 7.0 system bootstrap fails with:
gcc -c -D_BSD_SOURCE -DSYNC_INPUT=1 -Demacs -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DUSE_LUCID -I. -I/sdd/deyke/emacs-build/subdir/work/src -D_BSD_SOURCE -I/usr/X11R6/include -g -O2 indent.c
indent.c: In function `Fmove_to_column':
indent.c:1043: parse error before `int'
indent.c:1045: `c' undeclared (first use in this function)
indent.c:1045: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
indent.c:1045: for each function it appears in.)
make[2]: *** [indent.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/sdd/deyke/emacs-build/subdir/work/src'
make[1]: *** [bootstrap-build] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/sdd/deyke/emacs-build/subdir/work'
make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
[deyke@cocreate emacs-build]$
I admit that gcc on that system is really old, 2.96, but I am stuck with
it.
