query-replace <space> with new-line

query-replace <space> with new-line

[Baloff]

I have searched near and far for a function which can replace spaces
to new lines, so that I can use it to list the output of my load-path
in lines instead of a looooong line of paths.
is there a way to do this?

when asked  repalce with prefix the neline key with ^Q  ( controlQ )

or replace with C-o.
