Emacs' 22 builtin `find-library' already offers this.

BTW, gnu.emacs.sources is for posting *sources* not for URLs.

OK, I'm still on 21.3.1; about to upgrade whole installation, though.
Must go through and look for things I've done that have been done in
new version!

Was just trying to save bandwidth, but will post source (except for big
tarballs) in future!

It's good to try and save bandwidth and all, but a few K is nothing
compared to the binaries that have to flow through USENET everyday.
By posting sources you are creating an archive that will be around for
a longer time than most websites or URLs.
