howto render html files within emacs?

If  you want  to  display HTML  files  within emacs  then  use the  w3
library.

If you  want to turn  the buffer content  into html code  that renders
them, use htmlize.el

Take a look at the w3m package. It uses the w3m program to render HTML
within an emacs buffer.
