Thanks, but please don't, not now: we are in the middle of a pretest, striving to put out Emacs 22.1 ASAP. Any changes that are not bugfixes distract us from the pretest and run the risk of adding new bugs, thus delaying the release. Please come back and revisit this issue after Emacs 22.1 is released.
