In my opinion it would be annoying for those who rely on WoMan (if they
exist). Description of `man' and `woman' is well balanced in (info
"emacs"), but other docs may be improved.
- `man' and `woman' doc string may say that namely `man' is recommended,
however if the "man" command is unavailable on a particular platform
then they may try `woman'.
- (info "woman") and woman.el package comments should recommend `man'
and may contain a call for developers to improve parsing in WoMan and
perhaps to share more code and settings with man.el to get more
consistent behavior. Some features of WoMan described as its advantage
have been implemented in man.el since that time.
