Then i define an overlay and add a face-property to this overlay which has color "green". This overlay should cover the whole buffer (maybe senseless but it's just an example)! Ok, now my question: Is the text "XXX" (which has "red"-text-properties, see above) displayed now green or red? many thanks in advance!
