Subject: Can't start an X Window
Date: Fri, 08 Aug 2003 11:25:15 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <ubrv041es.fsf@boost-consulting.com> (raw)

Hi,

I just added a new account on a RedHat linux box. Everything seems
to be working with X when I login remotely with ssh -X, i.e.

   xterm

brings up a new xterminal. I can't get emacs (20.7.1 on this system)
to run in a new X window, though (it just comes up in the current
terminal), and there's no diagnostic output to tell me what's going
on. Can anyone help?

TIA,
--
