They are required to print Unicode characters. With some Googling I was able to find ones that worked for me. What is the situation with these? At the beginning I listed only the files in intlfonts package and it doesn't include iso10646 fonts. But, someone (I forgot) compiled those files and built iso10646 fonts (e.g. etl24-unicode.bdf).
