I have added to emacs-tangent the possibility of arguing about the two 
languages there.  But the unwillingness to use a language to get some 
job done is counter-productive.  Simplicity and potency have never been
requirements.  If there are multiple ways of doing something, I welcome that.

Please follow Eli's instructions.  If it is forcibly shut down, you bring it 
upon yourselves.
