Subject: Use emacs in X, but stay in xterm ?
Date: Wed, 07 May 2003 23:09:35 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <slrnbbjm57.mb.wisehart@krsanky.sotano> (raw)
Hi,
How can I use emacs in XFree86, but stay within the terminal.
For example I type "emacs" in the console, and it stays in its
own "window". If I type "emacs" in an xterm( or rxvt ) it opens
the gui version of emacs in a seperate window.
Can I force emacs to open within the xterm , and _not_ open a
seperate window?
thanks,
