dired-sort-toggle-or-edit feature request

When you toggle from "name" to "date" the default should be to jump to
the start of the listing (and not to move point together with the
last recent entry):

  /home/ke/Projects/reference_de-8.0.0.4-tex:
  insgesamt 1552
  -rw-r--r--    1 ke       users       10028 Feb  5 08:36 -!-3d.tex
  -rw-r--r--    1 ke       users       21067 Feb  8 15:28 ChangeLog
  -rw-r--r--    1 ke       users        1608 Feb  6 11:52 cover.tex

's' =>

  /home/ke/Projects/reference_de-8.0.0.4-tex:
  insgesamt 1552

Can you explain why your suggestion is a better default?  I can see 
advantages and disadvantages in both possibilities.

I'm using this feature since two weeks or so and whenever I type 's'
the next keyboard action is M-< (when I'm switching from name sorting
to date sorting).

Yes, especially when sorting by name.  When you think the current
default is better, leave it as is.
