Not at all!  I only wanted to express that your reply carried the tone
of an ultimatum, and that this uncompromising defense of change is, in
my observations, one of the principal factors behind the bitterness
perceptible in every discussion touching the subject, e.g. those on
defaults, of which December's conversations on registers is a prime
example.
