Subject: merging Gnus->Emacs
Date: Mon, 31 Mar 2008 13:16:30 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <px7ifiolu9.fsf@fencepost.gnu.org> (raw)

I think it would be good if you adjusted the dates of Gnus ChangeLog
entries when you merge them into Emacs, to be the date of installation
in Emacs (as you seem to do eg for 22->trunk merges). Also, some files
in Gnus live outside of gnus/ in the Emacs tree (eg tls.el), so those
ChangeLog entries need to go somewhere other than gnus/ChangeLog.
Thanks.
