If i want to tell emacs to recurse from '.', and open every file that matches a certain pattern (a la `find`), i need to use a gnus function. See this code suggestion from 'jlf' in #emacs: (remove-if-not (lambda (file) (string-match some-regexp file)) (gnus-recursive-directory-files default-directory) ) It surprized me that i'd have to have a huge pkg like gnus loaded to do something like this. thanks, Eric
