Subject: Can I create a dedicated modeline buffer?
Date: Thu, 11 May 2006 17:57:49 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <m3wtcs1rlu.fsf@kurono.home> (raw)

I would like to create something like a dedicated modeline buffer.

Preferably this would be occupying the same space as the minibufer,
and consiste of the right end of the minibuffer.

In this dedicated buffer would go all the things that now occupies
each and every modeline for me:
- erc notification
- mail notification
- time and date

I understand that its probably difficult to use the right part of the
minibuffer, so any hints and thoughts are apreciated.
