Subject: Try #2: Help with running screen inside of term-mode
Date: Mon, 19 Jan 2004 20:56:34 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <m3u12rcrhp.fsf@water.tss.usg.edu> (raw)

Here's a repost of my original note
(http://article.gmane.org/gmane.emacs.help/15749) with some more
information. Can anybody help or should I try the bugs list?

term-mode's directory tracking fails in you run screen inside of
term-mode. It fails because screen discards ESC A. term-mode is
keying on seeing ESC AnSiT. The screen folks think that discarding
unrecognized escape sequences is the correct behavior. Is there a
reason ESC A was selected for term-mode? Can it be switched to
something else?

Thanks!
