I wonder... is this an Emacs bug?  How is a Lisp program supposed to
interpret "unspecified-fg" as color?  Why don't these functions return
nil instead?

Emacs bug fixers, can you help?  Is (face-foreground 'default)
supposed to return "unspecified-fg"?
