Agreed that it is a feature, but there is a bug in the feature, that causes emacs to segfault if you hit the left-arrow key right after clicking to the right of the menus in the menubar. If one hits the right-arrow, the File menu is selected, and thereafter left/right wrap around from File to Help (and back), but if the first key after the mouse-click is the left arrow, emacs will crash and burn.
