I am releasing version 4.29 of Org-mode, with these changes:

Version 4.29
    - Inlining images in HTML export now depends on wheather the link
      contains a description or not.
    - TODO items can be scheduled from the global TODO list using C-c C-s
    - TODO items already scheduled can be made to disappear from the
global
      todo list, see `org-agenda-todo-ignore-scheduled'.
    - In Tables, formulas may also be Lisp forms.
    - Exporting the visible part of an outline with `C-c C-x v' works now
      for all available exporters.
    - Bug fixes, lots of them :-(

http://www.astro.uva.nl/~dominik/Tools/org/

Enjoy, and keep the feedback coming.

- Carsten

Looks like the org-mode file where you schedule the item in was not
properly initialized. Everything works OK here so far..... Did you do
this in a running emacs, load the new org.el and then try the commend?
Or did you start a new Emacs?

This is very odd. I gather that others are able to download the new
version without difficulty, but when I go to the link above I see
the page indicating that the latest version is 4.27. I download the
file labeled org-4.27.zip, unzip it, and see that it's the same size
and has the same time stamp as 4.27 released last month.

I've cleared my cache, and I've even gone to the site using a browser I
never use, but still see the same (older) file.

So am I going crazy?

Sorry, I forgot to update the webpage. Fixed now.

cvs emacs still has 4.26. would be nice if your releases just
came with cvs update of emacs.

Emacs is in features freeze and the changes in 4.29 are significant and
not well-enough tested to install them into Emacs at this point.
