I find it convenient to have a keystroke insert a filename, with a
definition like this:
(defun fsdired-insert-file-name ()
"Ask for a filename and insert at point."
(interactive)
(insert (read-file-name "file-name:"))
)
Could something like this be bound to c-u c-x i ?
