i18n and gtk+

I was wondering about the plans of internationalization of emacs and
it's ported to widget like gtk+

I havent found explicit information on the web page.

So, is i18n planned?

"Jan D." <jan.h.d@swipnet.se> have just posted here patches for GTK 
support (look them up in the archives of this list).

As for internationalization, what specifically did you have in mind 
(taking into account that Emacs already supports multi-lingual editing)?
