Please write in English if possible, because the Emacs maintainers
usually do not have translators to read other languages for them.

Your bug report will be posted to the emacs-pretest-bug@gnu.org mailing list.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

I tried to connect to emacs by emacsclient and it returns an error:

Waiting for Emacs...
*ERROR*: Fontset
"-*-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-fontset-standard" already exists"

If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
    `bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
If you would like to further debug the crash, please read the file
/usr/local/packages/emacs/share/emacs/23.0.50/etc/DEBUG for instructions.

Some problems here too. Under OS X the Carbon Emacs no longer
understands the "*-fontset-standard".

M-x list-fontsets only displays:

  Fontset: -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-fontset-default

The OS X X11-Version works fine and lists:

  Fontset: -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-fontset-default
  Fontset: -*-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-fontset-standard
  Fontset: -*-*-medium-r-normal--13-120-75-75-c-70-fontset-startup

Sorry for the late response on this matter.

Please show me the result of M-x list-fontsets RET on the
running Emacs.

For this, I have no idea. Anyway, yamamoto-san wrote that
the Carbon port in the trunk is not functioning after the
multi-tty merge. How did you make it work?

Emacs is running in xterm.

The message I got from list-fontsets:

  No fontsets being used.

I see. But I can't reproduce that bug. I tried this:

(1) Open two xterm windows, (a) and (b).

(2) In (a), run emacs with "-nw", and execute M-x
    server-start RET.

(3) In (b), run emacsclient, with and without DISPLAY
setting, and both work well (the former creates a new
window frame, and the latter creates a new tty frame).

I suspect something is wrong with multi-tty patch.

I agree. But I can NOT reproduce it now as well.
