I do hope a little more comes out of it, that is the idea of a short-term, one-on-one dialog, desirably backed by good docs/references, so that even high-level programmers from other programming cultures don't find a barrier in navigating Emacs's procedures. Also, "hostility" is a subjective perception (and discussing it as a universal is uninteresting), so the very word in the tag should might/should modulate that perception in the right direction.
