Hi all,

If a dired buffer has

,----
| wildcard introduction.txt
`----

then it will only display files that match the wildcard. While in this
kind of buffer, how can one reset the wildcard?

TIA

I think it is not possible in dired-mode but it would be nifty (and
consistent) if the wdired-mode could enable this simply by
over-writing the wildcard specification (and typing ´g' for example).
Or dired-find-alternate-file (`a') could provide this feature.

Maybe you are willing to write a feature request when Emacs 22 is out?
