The key itself is just a symbol used for communication between the C layer and
the lisp layer. As such, there's no reason not to change it or any of the
[ns-xxx] keys for clarity purposes if they have equivalents on other
platforms.
At the same time, it may be appropriate to change these keys from global-map
to special-event-map.
